Since STP is overloader and speeder with high risk, it signs too many
contracts and then sell under cost.

Just like STP, some STP holders buy on hope, and have to dump at loss
later.

I have reflected on a today article stating that  ( I quote a part of
it )
quote
Common sense dictates that with oil below $75, there is really no
chance for the solar stocks to catch fire, however the divergence was
created by the climate change talks that started yesterday in
Copenhagen, which traders took as an excuse to push solar stocks
higher.
unquote
The juornalist is blind : the future for the energy is  diversified in
mny other  energies ( as in the re mentioned)  then the oil which is
destined to disappear in some years ..
A simple person that now want to build his new home...off course he
should put on his roof all polichristaline wafers  for the solar
energy.
After 6 years with the incentives from the state he should be  also
"probably " capable to resell part of his energy so produced to the
Electrical company .
So reflect my friends ...reflect, .. the solar shall jump ..there is
no alternative .

STP is a story of low profit with too high cost.

No matter how many contracts it won, STP is over aggressive.

Half year ago, STP publicly said it had to sell under cost.

Investors get the hope, but keep seeing losses.

As a speeder and overloader, STP may be good for traders to get
thrilling, but not good for long term.

It's a good thing...

STP is always reacting the opposite way than what Cramer predicts :-)

This stock is getting crushed today because Cramer's an idiot and he
told people to sell this stock yesterday in his lightning round.  what
a d bag..... did he not hear how they crushed earnings? strong revenue
growth? and a solid outlook??  i still stick by my belief cramer does
not know anything about the solar sector..... he recommended fslr as a
buy around 198 dollars, recommended stp as a buy back in the spring
when it wqas 20 dollars (only to see it drop to 12-13),  recommended
stp as a sell around 13-14 dollars (only to rise with good reasons),
and now sell it after they crush earnings with a good outlook? he
doesn't know crap

It will be interesting to see which direction STP will head the
upcoming weeks.

In my opinion, we might see some small profit taking on Friday, but
over the next couple of weeks we should head towards $17.5

As proven in the past, it will be critical how STP deals with the
resistance between $17-$18.
If it can break out, there's a good chance it will continue to rise to
the $20 range, otherwise we might see a pullback to this current
range.

Interesting times guys... let's see where this is heading.

to possibly climb again.

STP just took off like a rocket in a matter of minutes. Still climbing
to 16.25 real time as I write. My TDAmeritrade even froze up from the
excess trades I am guessing. Now it is as high as $16.30.

yeah, results look nice, including positive outlook for the rest of
the FY and 2010 :-)

* Q3 EPS of 16 cts vs Wall Street view of 8 cts
* Q3 revenue of $473.1 mln vs Street view $426.6 mln

Let's see how the market will react.

So far around +3% pre market.
