Agreed. I was just joking out of frustration. the damn secondary was
at $6.5 and people were rushing to sell it at $6.2 yesterday. Due to
extremely tight margin I had to take some profits today at $6.45. I
still have 4k shares (core) and an additional block of 2k shares that
I intend to sell into strength at or slightly below $7.

Anyway I agree, they got a pretty decent price in their offering, all
things considered. They were trading in the $5.xx area not that long
ago.

no you got it the other way around. offering are usually _preceded_ by

You're fine, yonil. It had a lot to do with the market weakness over
the past week, as well, but it looks like we are about to go back up
again. They will be able to sell the shares easily to institutions
because it's impossible to buy that many shares on the open market
without driving the price up to $20. The float is tiny, only 21M

it's disasterous ASTI broke through $6.5 like nothing, even though
that is supposed to be the offering price. I bought a sh!t ton of
shares at $6.2. I hope I don't get hosed tomorrow.

It's about time and a good sign that orders are starting to roll in.
This should also boost the stock price by improving the balance sheet,
although it looks like we'll have a little dip at the open then move
higher quickly from there.

with only 21M shares outstanding I like to see them offering an
additional 20 million to raise cash. I think this is the most
promising solar stock out there today and could someday hit the First
Solar price levels.
