CommVault Systems upgraded to "outperform"
02/07/08 - Robert W. Baird
NEW YORK, February 7 (newratings.com) - Analysts at Robert W Baird
upgrade CommVault Systems Inc (CVLT) from "neutral" to "outperform."
The target price is set to $19.

In a research note published this morning, the analysts mention that
the company has posted robust results for its latest quarter, with
revenues in-line with expectations. CommVault Systems' enterprise
license growth is likely to continue to be driven by the launch of
Simpana 7.0, the analysts say. CommVault Systems has issued its
operating margin guidance for FY08 marginally short of expectations,
which resulted in a 25% decline in the company's share price. The
recent sell-off in the company's stock is overdone, Robert W Baird
adds.

All nice and well but since that stupid mistake made by the CEO during
the call with the analysts i do not believe that the current
management is capable of managing this company the right way.

Products the best
People the best

Senior management weak

Time for a change

What is really going on with this stock. Everything seems to be OK but
it drops and drops and drops. I believe that the current management
cannot handle the publicity and the investors so they have to go.

In three months time the price is half the price!!!!!!!!!

It is hard to comprehend what is going on with this stock. This is a
great company with great fundamentals with everything going in their
favor but the stock price is going south. I hope and wish that this is
a short term drop and the price will pick up steam pretty soon.

I just saw a report that people believe that Oracle will buy
CommVault? Will that be the case? I believe Symantec will buy CV
because their DataManagement software is pretty old and to rebuild it
will take a lot of money and time.

I believe that CEO and CFO have to leave. To bring a company to the
stock market is one thing. To manage analysts the stock market is an
other kind of job and the current senior management is not capable of
doing this.

I believe this is simply sector movement of funds.  Other similar
stocks (DBTK) have been getting hammered since late last year.  They
got especially hammered after the quarterly reports in early
February..... which weren't that bad.  There has been virtually no
negative news on either company.  CVLT is buying back $40M worth of
their shares and is sitting on a pile of cash ($95M).  I hope there
are buying them at these low prices and they even more shares off the
market.  Also, at these prices 15-20% of the share value is backed by
cash assets!!!!  I think this is simply a great buying opportunity.

We will find out when quarterly reports come out in a few weeks.  I
don't see the share prices going much lower because such a high
percentage of the share price is backed by cash.  Lower share value
jacks that percentage even higher.

Just my opinion,
Mark
