Subject: CBAK did it again
If you own this stock, you live in an earthquake zone. Every so
often, the company raises $20 million or so with a delectable (for special people) private offering priced WAY below the market and sweetened by a giveaway warrant or option. The rest of us suffer. Tony Shen told me that this is the least expensive way CBAK can raise equity capital and that's why they will keep doing it, until CBAK becomes a clear-cut category on everyone's lips and they can simply do a public offering for a lot more money. Lesson from the past: Sell CBAK and buy it back when the market price

jrgriffinmd, I took about 2/3's off the table during the recent run
up. I wasn't comfortable with the history of the stock performance. Now this. I wish now I unloaded the remaining 1/3rd. Oh well, I agree with you. I think this will trend down and now I'm more concerned about the next cc as well. I'm thinking the waiting is not going to pay off much. I would like to see solid performance, not sure when/if this is ever materialize. Not sure what I will do with my remaining shares. It could be another 1-2 years before anything ignites with this company. There is other opportunities that I' missing. Will we be in this same postion again next year in the fall? History say's yes. The next offering will be at $3.10 - an so on , and so on. As you can tell this performance from the BAK leadership is numbing to me. Any words of wisdom? I'm all ears. I have been a long-term investor in CBAK for more than 2 years. But I
recently sold most of my holdings (at 3.88) and will buy back as soon as the stock drops below the PP price of 3.55. We are almost there. One never knows whien the run-up trigger will be pulled, so I don't want to be out too long. The money could be used to enhance the production lines being built in India. Now that they are in India, there is no reason they can't duplicate there what they've done in China. Another market with 1+ billion people. All of them will need LION batteries at some point. Meanwhile, CBAK sells into the power tool and electric bicycle business while they seek a contract with one or more auto companies. Chinese companies will choose other Chinese companies to build their businesses, rather than relying on companies from Japan (very bad memories from the past), Korea, Europe and the U.S. Also, as the WSJ pointed out recently, Chinese currency is grossly undervalued and should rise in value vs. the dollar. So any Chinese holding is also a currency play. So that's another reason to invest in Chinese companies now. You get to by assets which should be priced higher at a price currently in lockstep with the dollar. On Oct 26, 2:43 am, Robyn <rkseid...@gmail.com> wrote:

Little did I know that today, we would break through the 3.55 price
point and plunge even further to 3.44. So now with every PP offering CBAK has made during the last two years, the share price subsequently has dipped below the PP offering price. All of you who feel cheated by the PP can now buy shares for less than the folks who recently put $20M into CBAK's coffers. A good time to buy, since you are getting your shares on the cheap, compared to them. If you still like the stock, that is. I do. I'm buying some shares back.
