| Of LOI's and crickets ...
Awfully quiet here lately - and somewhat in trade volume. Yet those LOIs whisper loudly. True, they are not signed contracts, just LOIs, but what LOIs! Dongfeng. Dongfeng! The Chinese sub for Nissan - of Nissan-Renault which has bet their future on EVs and see penetration into the Chinese market as a major part of that play and who has invested in making... Robyn - |
| OH NO! Cramer recommending it!
The kiss of death! [link] "Target price 6.00 by 2010 ... This is a well run company with a strong business plan, strong leadership, obvious winner. Great Potential " Ah well, even a blind squirrel as they say.... Robyn - |
| BZCN rising fast
BZCN is starting the amazing holiday run. BZCN has had huge volume and buying going on. BZCN had a nice pull back right before close yesterday and is a great entry point today. | IF YOU ARE SMART - TAKE YOUR MONEY AND WALK AWAY FROM CBAK
This company has proved over a long time now that it is not able to protect the stockholders money. The economy is so damaged that it will not survive. Hans Svensson - |

| CBAK did it again
If you own this stock, you live in an earthquake zone. Every so often, the company raises $20 million or so with a delectable (for special people) private offering priced WAY below the market and sweetened by a giveaway warrant or option. The rest of us suffer. Tony Shen told me that this is the least expensive way CBAK can raise... jrgriffinmd@gmail.com - |
| The Big Bad BYD
BYD is of course the dominant battery player for EV in China in most radars and by market cap - much thanks to Buffet's endorsement. But how does their reliance on low cost labor compare to CBAK's higher tech automated lines over a longer term, in an economy in which the standard of living is inexorably rising? Over what time scale will... Robyn Seidman - |
| Commodity prices; rare earth metals; and China.
Let us assume that demand for EVs does indeed modestly take off worldwide. Access to materials, including rare earth metals, will be critical. Interesting (see [link] ) "You're not alone if you can't name any of these rare-earth minerals. Words like yttrium, holmium, lanthanum, and thulium don't exactly roll... Robyn Seidman - |
