I sincerely hope they trim management, as an employee of a small town
newspaper scooped up by them a few years ago, we have watched them
throw money into equipment we didn't need and consolidate offices, and
keep the pay scale at minimum with part time employees. We are still
profitable, but money goes to corporate....

Oh, that makes sense? Get rid of the guys whose department isn't
responsible for over 90 percent of the company's operations or
revenues?

Ever consider that maybe those other operations -- which constitute
the company's core operations and core businesses -- might be to blame?

I repeat my call for the resignation of Gatehouse's top new media/
internet guys: Bil Blevins and Howard Owens. If this isnt a reason to
replace these duds, when will it otherwise happen?
