Subject: I think I Found the Earnings!
I searched the SEC website & found the 1st quarter earnings numbers
that didn't appear in the MarketWatch article.  It's 29 cents per
share!!!  WOOOO HOOOO as they'd say in China!  Their Q1 earnings in
2008 was 10 cents a share.  Last quarter, it was 19 cents a share.  To
push out 29 cents a share in this economic environment says a lot
about this little engine that could.  This company is a bargain at $10
a share & unless they show up hammered & naked at the conference call,
you've seen the last of CHNG under $5 & possibly your last chance to
own it in single digits.  Forget the Nasdaq, straight to blue chip
status to replace GM in the DOW!  Okay, maybe a little too far, but
I'm still delighted to be a long term investor in this company.

I thought I posted a reply to this yesterday, but it doesn't appear to
have gone through.  In any case, in what I was posting was that the
current quarter earnings isn't directly comparable.  Look at the # of
common shares.  In the current quarter ending Mar 31, 2009, there were
25 million shares.  In the previous quarter ending Dec 31, 2008, there
were 32 million shares.  If you want to compare the current EPS of
$0.29 to the previous quarter, it's actually $0.23 (vs the $0.19 of
the previous quarter).  If you want to compare the previous quarter
EPS to the current quarter, it was $0.24 (vs the $0.29 of the current
quarter).

Better idea is to look at the total earnings and revenue to get a
sense of what kind of growth they're experiencing.  It's still good.
Just not as good as you were thinking.

So...you're saying I shouldn't have quit my job?

Thanks for pointing that out.  I was hoping someone who knew how to
read those filings better would find & post the info.  I'm still quite
happy with their results & the flattering article on Reuters.  This
company appears to be so very well run & continues to expand so
rapidly.  All of this growth while building a huge LNG production
facility.  I really love their long term prospects of becoming a
Chinese Exxon with an Apple image.  Maybe on a smaller scale, but who
knows?
