High Volume and down... why?

What is happening with this stock? Seems like it should be on the up
and up, but its being very volatile. Any explanations?

3SBio is selling Amgen and Biogen's drugs to the world's biggest, but
not the world's richest market...at least not yet. That makes for very
strong promise for the very long term IMHO.

Yep, and kudos to 3sbio for buying back at a great price.
Market cap on this deserves at least $300M, so I can't imagine who
would be short on this stock with PPS in the mid $7's, but you are
right that there could be a short squeeze going on.

even though SSRX dropped again today, i still believe the fundementals
of the firm are good with competitive products and high demands. Do
not panic. It is better to hold stocks for a while. Do not let
speculators have chance to scare us away in order to take in cheaper
stocks and pull them back in future. Something strange here dont make

i agree with you on that!

i bought at 13.80 before the reports....
sold the next day at 16.40 and then it came down

bought in again at 13.60

now i will hold again ^^

Is anybody has future prediction in positive direction for ssrx ?

I read about this stock in IBD.
Everything looked great when i read.
Stock is down more than 30% since i bough.
I am in long term hold position>
I appreciate idea if someone is feeling thats not good idea?

i am possitive about it will turn around soon and heand up to 17 with
2 weeks. It should stop falling by today and rebound tomorrow. There
is are nothing wrong with this firm. It is very profitable. I bought
it at 14.5 and will hold it.

Sadly, I sold today at 13.09. I'm new at all this. I did my homework-
P/E and multiples- it all looked good. But I also learned how to use
my "stop market" function today. I wish all of you the very best with
this stock! I really hope to see it above 17 sometime very soon.

Clearly shows a down side over the last few days. The only positive
thing is that volumes are not huge, especially if you compare to the
volumes on up days. This is a good sign. However I think the down
trend is very clear with the stock now below its 50 days moving
average.

Either you sell to cut your losses or you wait until it goes up again

It is called volatility.. SSRX is much more volatile than say- csco,
dell, etc. So far the stock looks to be more of a traders stock than
an investors stock . You didn't need to buy your whole position at
17.30- that is rather ridiculous.. If you are that worried take your
losses now and learn from your mistake.. Also, the price of a stock

Usually, in a downtrend, 3 out 4 stocks will follow the overall
market. I strongly advise you to follow some kind of a selling
strategy. Take a look at investors.com for advice on that issue...

Can someone please help me! I am new to this, and I don't understand
why this low price stock drops every day at such a high percentage. I
unfortunately bought at $17.30
and I am getting killed. I know the market is way down, but why is
this low price stock down
daily at such a higher percentage than say - csco, dell, etc.

SSRX was up $2.20 eventhough the market was down. SSRX did Great.
First SSRX beat estimates today by .03 and now all this positive
staying power.

It depends... if you're planning to make a quick profit in a day or
two then this might be risky. If you plan on holding for 3+ weeks I
don't think you can lose.

Not sure why you hate SSRX so much. You also mention in the other post
that you do not like lead in Chinese products. Don't generalize. If
you don't like chinese stock, stay away.

This is a solid company, not only do they have succesfull sellings
with their drugs.
They have quite a few of them that are still in manufacturing stages.
I stay for the long run. This company has a huge growt potential. It's
gonna be a bumpy ride but I believe anyone who sits it out will not
regret.

Well I jumped on the wagon at around 14, because I already had some at
18.57, it turns out I made a good move. Up over 16% after trade
hours.
If you believe in a company, did your homework decently, you shouldn't
worry before earnings, even if intitutionals are bullying the stock
down. All who sold will probably regret it.

This is good short term or long... listen to the conference call they
expect to keep these growth rates up... I wouldn't short this unless
you see a drastic run above 20

I don't think this stock belongs below 19.00 - 19.50
depending on what and when and if it gets there we'll see about taking
some off the table and I only have a tiny bit invested. I would never
take it all out only 50% max

So what's the strategy now, are you guys all going to just sell at the
market open, or stick around and see if it climbs even more during the

Perhaps set a limit order at couple percentages below market open
level to protect yourself from a massive sell-off at the market open?
