TCM is a very bad stock and very bad management. The plan to
repurchase all the stock outstanding early this year is a conspiracy,
it just helped MER to run away from the price range 8 - 10 .You will
find Merrill Lynch no more in its list of shareholders. MER once owned
over 10 million shares. What a trick.

I recommend to be patient. A company trading below cash that also is
profitable (even after being hit through adverse circumstances) will
eventually come back.

Tongjitang Halted the main Production Due to Earthquake Damage for
some time and The aftershock stills happened frequently with huge
deconstructions.I think the buyout seems not happen in the near
future, TCM will drop back to 7 maybe 6 again due to the poor

Some chineese stocks are at pre Aug 07 prices or below..plenty of
growth still will happen as china goes into a fast paced "industrial
revolution" and the rise of a capital- rich midle class. There will be

I mainly spread my capital in HFGB( Huifeng) , RHGP (Renhuang),
CKGT (Cactus) & GUPR (Guilin). All are very undervalued with P/
E less than 5 but I strongly recommend you to read their
quarterly reports as well and do your own dd to verify it.

In general, try to diversify with undervalued stocks, john. This
is a way to leverage the risk of investing in shares.U can
never know in advance which pick is going to rise first.

Thanks. I think between $6 to $7 is a good range to buy back also. I
just recently purchase GRRF at $4.75. Now is sitting at $5.22. Do

Patrick, I bought TCM at $7 and sold it at $9. I maded about 30%
profit in less than a week. Now TCM is going back down. I am

Imo, since the offer is at 10,20 $ this is a unique chance
for us to sell TCM with gain and switch to other stocks
which are currently undervalued due to the bleeding market
of the last 5 months. Me personally i ll increase my

it definitely sounds like your digging hard for positive notes
regarding this company. Olympics...pharmaceuticals? Hardly a direct
relationship, but what you should be looking at is there ability to
turn profit from 04-06. There growth from 06-07 has not been
promising, hence the affected stock price. Still, I agree that it's a

Going through the P/E of all the Chiense ADRs alongwith the forward P/
E , TCM seems to qualify as the best buy. It has a low P/E and a very
low progressive forward P/E. Combine this with the Olympics in China

IMO, TCM has a huge growth potential in China. They have a very small
national market share at this time with a lot of room to grow.
TCM has huge potential as it only serves a small percentage of market
share. 12% of hospitals, and 13% of retail pharmacies.

TCM outlook for 2007 is around ~590 - 620 RMB mil. So far its made
148.3, 141.1 & 126.9 for last 3Q's. To meet their outlook, they have
to generate around 173.7 RMB mil this Q4. I think its possible to meet
that number with increased sales of XLGB. Winter is the hardest month
for people with Osteoporosis and I am thinking there will be increase

This stock confuses me. All the numbers are good. PE is extremely low.
Profits are great. People are buying more and more of their products.
Yet the stock is just sagging.

Thus, I am expecting a 3-4 dollar pop sometime soon, but in the
meantime, this is really boring.

TCM right now has a PE of 9. That is insanely low for a company of
this quality. Even though we are in the middle of a down-trend of the
whole market, this thing will return to the 11-12 range within a
month. Great chance to make 20-30%! It is a no-brainer.

I think your watch list must be Dow 30. TCM is not a member of Dow.
