Subject: Freefall
This is pretty wild. Poor LULU is falling off a cliff right now.  I
can't really see who could be selling at these levels so strongly, as
the majority of the IPO shares are not free trading yet. I believe
they come free in Feb. That must mean that people are selling shares
for very little profit, or at a loss even, as it hasnt been at these
levels very much.

Any thoughts?  Or are the shares free and I mis-read the prospectus a
while back?  I am happily calm because the company is doing really
well. It is interesting to see the disconnect between the actual
operations and the stock price though...  I expected a pullback after
Christmas but not like this!

Im not sure, but 'they' originally bought for 18, so they are sitting
pretty good and may want some of there money back.  Although with it
falling so quickly here they may hold!.

Im not too worried, it would have been nice to cash out at the high
and hit the low, but I have some cash that I will wait to add with
when it (if) if gets low.  The company is strong, and it is one I
understand and know that it is progressing into the US well.

no doubt, you should have seen the stores for like 6 weeks straight
here in Canada.  I could not believe the line ups of people right out
of the store to buy items where the cheapest thing in the store is
$50.  And people were walking out with 3 - 4 bags.  Boxing week was
even worse.  This is the newest trend for women and I see a good
future for LULU.

The IPO shares are free on the 23rd, but that's a week after earnings
and guidance...if the holiday season was as hot as everyone says (huge
lineups at Sherway Gardens in Toronto), the Canadian dollar maintains
parity....we are in for a good earnings call...also, my $.02 are that
people are staying away from these sorts of stocks because of the
general economic situations...but i think it it is a bit of an
overreaction since people who buy $100 pants are less likely to be
impacted by layoffs/bad macroeconomics than your 'lower-cost
retailers' (McD/Burger King, Wal-Mart, etc)

Its not really a secret.  Lululemon is a consumer cyclical growth
stock.......growth and cyclicals get crushed during every bear
market / correction / recession....there are no exceptions...no matter
how great the company is....it takes a beating....You know how this
thing started to drop like a rock about two weeks ago?  Yeah...that's
because professionals new exactly what was coming......if you ever see
all of the cyclicals getting crushed....you know that something's
up....    Retailers are all adjusting guidance........lets hope
lululemon gives us a little dose of pr tommorow morning.

last technical line of support is at 33.01...Then there is no bottom
after that. MY opinion is that it is time for a bounce.  Good news via
a pr would aid this greatly!!! DJIA bounced in the PM hopefully we can
see some more money put our way tomorrow Good luck longs

The fact that the last line of technical support is only a buck away
means a few things.....Hedge Funds that are shorting this stock and
pounding it more and more each day have been a wonderful time.  I was
watching a video clip just last night where Jim Cramer talks about how
he used to intentionally knock a stock down....I believe he said that
it could generally be done with 5 or 10 million dollars.....hedge
funds have more than enough....plus I've read that its not uncommon
for them to team up on a stock.....they push it past support and then
everyone else does the rest.

Perhaps the most important question is this:  At what point do these
fund managers stop with the shorting and establish a long position
(works like a charm since they now it was artifically knocked down by
them).  I'm guessing not when the jackpot is only a buck
away......this is why we could really use chip to come through with
some pr this morning.......then...technically...we'd be cashing in on
the hedge funds as they buy to cover.

something to think about.
Schmidt
