People need to need beyond the "none cash" items. Otherwise CHLN had
a spectacular quarter. Think about it, other than EJ and XIn, this is it. CHLN is still by far the most under valued of the 3. "We are pleased with our results for the second quarter, in which our

Yea, I agree, but, apparently, the broader market is not. D*MN! I
hope this turns around. On Aug 13, 10:08 am, "anime...@gmail.com" <anime...@gmail.com> wrote:

agreed they paid down a 10mil worth of debt and had outstanding growth
numbers in all their fields(also growth in debt/interest but not disproportionaly so). anyways i think what it comes down to is what exactly they mean by derivative/warrant revaluation. anyone have any thoughts on this? I am thinking of adding to my position but that is the only question in my mind that says i should not. guess i may have to wait for the conference call.... Me too, I would love to know what the problem with dirivatives was. I
think that they may have made some investments that went south. Since they are a player in real estate also, maybe it was some form of dirivatives with land acquisitions ???? On Aug 13, 10:25 am, ca7711 <ca7...@googlemail.com> wrote:

after looking at their statement some more i am thinking that the
share price has reached such a level that their derivatives and warrants are exercisible. Check out page 15 of their statement it talks about convertable debt/warrants and all that. what we might be seeing is some dilution resulting from this. anyways just a thought so if anyone has any other theories let me know. So how do you translate this into why it is affecting such a good
earnings report ? On Aug 13, 11:06 am, ca7711 <ca7...@googlemail.com> wrote:

ok ill take a stab at it.
1. the revaluing of derivatives and warrants relates to convertable debt 2. the provisions in this 1.5 million warrants become exercisable at a certain common share price which just happens to be the range we are at: 6.07. 1.5million to the 30 million shares is an automatic 5% dilution. 3. for the convertable debt. 45 % of the original debt is convertable which means (9million$ i share value) at an exercise price of 5.57 This eqautes to another 1.5 million shares which makes another 5% dilution. 4. Now they may not actually have exercised their rights but the company has the financial obligation to set aside the funds to cover for when this happens. 5. average price decline today 10% Please take what i have said with a grain of salt. I do not claim to

Well, that is a better explanation than anyone else seems to have. My
take, Good company in high growth area and high growth sector, in a country that is way ahead of the curve as far as coming out of this global meltdown. this company is preselling things as fast as they can list them. The country is putting in tremendous amounts of money to improve the infrastructure in the Xian area. I have personally been there ( 2007) and believe me this area is growing. This equates to what Chicago is for the U.S., a gateway and hub to the west. Only Xian is like a Chicago in the 1800's. I had over 3,000 shares and just added 400 more @ 5.50 and 200 more @ 5.26 On Aug 13, 2:44 pm, ca7711 <ca7...@googlemail.com> wrote:

word im building as we drop. not to such a great extent as you seem to
be but 100 shares and 100 shares there adds up. anyways im thinking this has been a great couple of quarters for this company and the only thing im worried about is how can they afford to continue to grow? On Aug 13, 3:21 pm, LogCabin <ach...@verizon.net> wrote:

if they presell property before it's being built they really only have
to worry about land aquisition. Since they already own somewhere in the neighborhood of 250 acres between 4-5 projects, it's simply a matter of hiring more workers and expanding by having more projects going simultaneously. At least that's the way to do it w/o heading to the China construction bank.... which they have a huge credit line with. The Chinese gov't is really behind this area growing, hence lot's of subsidies and favorable treatment for CHLN, whose CEO used to be in gov't himself.
