I bought some of mine in the $1.70 range.. I am looking at the long
term here. No rush to sell at the moment but of course Im not
comfortable seeing the price slides so fast.. This company stock was
hitting $10 in late 2008 !! Now you can buy for 1/10 of such a price..
Just hang on to yours I think as soon as new contracts coming in, the
price will jump 20% in 1 day like it did with the Nine Dragon Casino
project during summer 2009. IMO the Dubai project worried some
investors and they just shorted it. I hope price will adjust itself
early 2010 or at least until Chinese New Year when new projects likely
start. I agree CAEI needs to put out more updates on projects and the
company's operation besides just the Q3 report !!

I'm in at 1.64 for the above mentioned reasons.  This type of
engineering and building is not going away.
And when CAE gets more government contracts the stability in this
company will be back.  Now, they
stated new contracts starting in late 2009 moving to 2010.  Here we
are late 2009, and I can only HOPE
that 2010 will bring many new contracts and not this ugly downward
churning the shorting has created.

Best Luck-

I got in on the 1.60ish area and then got out at around 1.30. Sad to
see the company to go down like this. Cost me a lot of money but now
I'm glad I did get out. If you guys are down on your luck (Do you own
DD) try looking into DDSS labopharm.

I have the same average price as well and I am not comfortable with
the price where it is trading.

Another point is that this company really needs to start publishing
more updates on projects and other things they are working on. It is
tough to have buyers right now  when there is barely any news..
basically the last piece of info everyone seems to have is their last
quarter's earnings, which unfortunately wasn't as good as expected.

Also, does anyone have info on their ability to raise more capital to
continue its operations???

My average is about the same as yours. This is the cost Shanghai Nine
Dragon paid for their shares. Just hold onto it, probably for a long
time from now, you will have a big chance to  gain a lot!

Not sure. I'm averaged in around 1.60, so I'm hating life right now.
Anyone have any feedback? I'm thinking about doubling down...F it. Go
for it, it seems so cheap right now.

Why is it going down so much, is it because of shorters?

... as long as you don't mind the negativity sometimes.  I got out a
little while ago and it popped a little after, but sank within the
day.  Large loss, but it was a gamble I guess... and I knew that going
in.  I'm not sure what it is with this stock.  I'm going to assume the
inflated US market is creating a black hole of wealth.

Long-suffering shareholder here. I have averaged down a couple of
times the past year, but this dog just refuses to perk up. I am losing
my patience with this stock fast.
By the way, great to see some well-informed reasonable discussion here
for a change.

Shanghai Nine Dragon Co., Ltd. (Public, SHA:600555), which holds
shares of CAEI, has risen by more than 30% since Sep. 27. Why the CAEI
keep plummeting?

Maybe they don't like to approve the financial reports, I am wondering
would there be any coming lost in Q4. I think Victor here was that
CFO, would Victor like to tell it?

I've had no response from any of their investor relations people and
have tried several times despite this guy.  Anyone else ever try?
