Just read a Chinese article saying that the company closed 77
pharmacies in 2009! Also read that the company has a strategy that
focus on selling the company's own brands and that this is hurting
sales since many customers prefer a wider range of products to choose
from. Was considering buying, but opting out.

To the best of my knowledge this company NPD is very risky and is
going against the grain from that of their competitors in China.
Furthermore, this company is set up as cash generator for the parent
company that owns NPD and constantly gives cash to this entity. I
forsee this stock going alot lower until it is its own standalone

potential this company has. The fact that they are about to have (if
iam not mistaken) 8million registered users in 2008 is astonishing.
While this is seemingly over priced, it is an illusion which is

NPD is sound business model that takes advantage of the growing and
aging population in China. Not only do they have their own private
labels to increase revenue by slashing costs, but just let the numbers
speak for themselves. Investors can pull in and out all day long, but
the bottom-line is that this is going to be a powerhouse
