gro is up 36.18% after my buy suggestion. it's tough suggesting
anything that works with the dow jones hovering around its 50%
retracement. the china trade is still working, but there's no telling
how long it will last. check out my profile for more suggestions.

Hi,

Finally the stock went up, hope this will keep on.

I am still in, and plan to stay for a long period.

I just wish there will be able to release the earnings in the coming
days/weeks..

DLA Piper preliminarily concluded that the allegation regarding P3A's
contracts, bank statements, and tax invoices was unfounded.

This is from the website at

http://ir.agriacorp.com/phoenix.zhtml?c=216437&p=irol-newsArticle&ID=...

From the newspaper interview at

http://www.odt.co.nz/news/business/78702/agria-stakein-pggw-a-thorny-...

PGG Wrightson (PGGW) chairman Keith Smith said.
"The fact that the relationship has progressed to the point of
announcement demonstrates that neither PGGW, Agria nor their advisers
found issues of significant concern."

This gives me comfort that the allegations are false and reasonably
immaterial. If the results were to trim some value from the company I
feel it is still highly undervalued.

Very good news! I did not know that GRO wanted to increase its stake
in PGG.
Hope this will be reflected in the stock price soon..

Does anyone know if GRO will be able to publish their financial
statement soon?

Thx

I'd say up to $8.00 a share (or more) will give you a good return
depending on when you want to cash out. College for the kids? No
problem!
Here's a link to an Austrailian publication that tells it all about
the investment Agria and PGG Wrightson is making with each other.

Thank you

The low volume over the last few months probably has something to do
with that. As the word spreads the price should rise in a standard
pattern. After all the time with a depressed stock price there are a
lot of people taking profits and those moving out at what they feel is
an opportune time. This is normal. Value stocks are what they are,
worth more than the selling price at the moment. Still, 20% Friday and
13% today are very, very good increases. Time tells all things and the
Agriculture business is not going away. Agria is growing very well and
made a smart move with this business decision. I'm confident the value
is increasing even as the price is .

Many thanks Airbuff for your post, I totally agree with you!
This stock should be much more higher.. but we have to be patient.

I first buy this stock in april at $ 0.78 and sold it 2 days after
with a gain over 30 %.
Of course at that time I did not know that the stock would have
reached $ 3.50..

I think that the reason that this stock is still so cheap is because
of the claim they had and then the fact that they never published any
news on their financial system since then.

But when you look at their fundamentals, no need to be an expert to
see that GRO is really (but really) undervalued.

After the good news with PPG, there is no doubt that this stock should
reach higher price in the coming weeks..

So I will be really patient this time and wait for it.
I am just suprized that on Thursday the stock gained only 20 pct after
this great news..

There's a lot of them and it's hard to keep track of all the picks
that  come your way.

Here's some comparisons that shows the value of GRO (Agria Corp).

A spammed one - share price today $5.51 (close)
EPS Normalized (MRFY) -0.28
Rev per share (TTM) 3.37
BV per share (MRQ) 1.57
Tangible BV per share (MRQ) 1.14
P/Tangible book (MRQ) 4.4x
Cash per share (MRQ) 1.02
Total Debt/Equity (MRQ) 0.50

GRO - share price today $2.98 (close)
EPS Normalized (MRFY) 0.39
Rev per share (TTM) 1.57
BV per share (MRQ) 4.26
Tangible BV per share (MRQ) 3.36
P/Tangible book (MRQ) 0.8x
Cash per share (MRQ) 2.76
Total Debt/Equity (MRQ) 0.00

Using 1 metric price to tangible book if this were GRO the stock price
would be $13.11.

Another Chinese stock (though in a different field)Won't mention the
ticker with respect to GRO shareholders.

close today $22.70
EPS Normalized (MRFY) 0.48
Rev per share (TTM) 2.15
BV per share (MRQ) 5.43
Tangible BV per share (MRQ) 5.30
P/Tangible book (MRQ) 4.0x
Cash per share (MRQ) 2.44
Total Debt/Equity (MRQ) 0.50

GRO equivalent $11.92

Another - closing price today $11.98
EPS Normalized (MRFY) 0.94
Rev per share (TTM) 7.52
BV per share (MRQ) 4.85
Tangible BV per share (MRQ) 4.06
P/Tangible book (MRQ) 2.9x
Cash per share (MRQ) 3.82
Total Debt/Equity (MRQ) 0.20

GRO equivalent $8.64

If you look through the fundamentals of other companies you'll see the
same story over and over. Agria Corp (GRO) is a pure value play,
selling less than book value, at cash in bank, no debt and shows all
the intentions and ability to grow rapidly. If a person were to hold
GRO for a longer term this stock has all the earmarks of a 5 bagger or
more. That's how I see it, just buy some and sit on it until it
hatches.

Don't think your stock will go up that much. It looks like you're here
on the GRO board to get a couple of dollars into that stock so you can
sell your shares to someone. There is no volume at all. No fundamental
numbers around on it. It looks like a pink sheet ghost. If you can get
rid of your stock, get something with real potential. GRO will do very
nicely, no debt, promoting overseas expansion with plenty of cash in
the bank.

In todays market it's about any ones guess how these stock prices
move. With GRO closing at the peak and with high volume generally this
is very good for moves up in the following days. GRO is selling at
cash value right now, very few other companies can say that.
