For media companies, it is always networks! As a Chinese traveler, I
hate their programs (really shitty programs) on board, in waiting
lines, etc...but who cares. If this company has the largest adv
platforms in Chinese airports and airlines, and advertisers want to
target travelers, then this company will benefit from their adv
dollars.

I expect at $4 a share, you get over 55% cash out of it. The company
is expected to spend less in capex of 2009, as its networks are
already laid out in China. It is just the bad timing make the
company's stock sliding down to its near all time low. I'd want to buy
a little more and hold it for a few years waiting for it to pick up
around $10. It is achievable.

All these Chinese ADRs have been beaten down with the US market. Last
I checked, China was still growing GDP at like 9% a year. 3Q will be
good for these companies, and they should rerate. I cant imagine how
good companies could trade at single PE ratios with relatively secure
earnings and grow over 50% a year.

IMHO, based only on looking at peer valuations, AMCN is undervalued.

AMCN's Projected P/E is 10.36x while the industry (Marketing Services)
has an average Projected P/E of 53.84x (seems really large, driven up
by companies like LAMR with a 373.00x Projected P/E and CTCT with a
72.52x Projected P/E), implying a projected stock price of $49.53.

AMCN has a projected earnings growth rate of 29.60% and has a PEG of
0.35 while the industry has an average PEG of 3.41, implying a
projected stock price of $92.85.

Here are more analysis details:

http://www.freestockvalueranker.com/?method=peg_pe&symbol=AMCN

Why is this stock so undervalued relative to its peers?
