Subject: Vision China Media Inc. News
Hi,

Can anyone tell me where to go to find some news and updates
concerning this company.  I'd like to know what's going on with them
and any developments that have occurred recently.  The major news
channels like Google and Yahoo don't really update any news about
them.

Thank You in advance!

do you read Chinese?
If not, it would be very difficult.

I did some research and found this company to be solid.  I bought this
one for long term.

Ref. Chinese sources, I checked out sina.com and baidu.com and didn't
see anything that wasn't on the English blogs.  Where do you usually
look?

I have no doubt that this is a solid company and judging by there
growth over the past 5 year period, I know they're doing great
things.  I just wish they'd share that with investors.  I guess I'm
going to contact they're investor relations center and see what
happens.  Will post it up.

I have had VISN on and off for a while...I can't agree more -- there
is a story here to tell but the communications have been very poor in
the past.. They have a new CFO (Scott Chen) who has worked for a
number of large western companies and graduated with Wharton school.
Please, no offense to the Chinese management/people, its just that
there are games that have to be played with the financial community to
make equities like this work.  So lets hope that Mr.Chen is getting
this company off on the right foot.  I see the conferences and
presentations he is planning on -- so all looks good there. I travel
to China several times a year, and i can see the service that this
company sells. The timing is right.  My chinese is limited, so if any
of the Chinese people would let us non Chinese in on any news that is
not picked up in English -- that would be most helpful.

The chart pattern looks a little interesting here (as it has been on
and off for the last couple of years - only to discourage)...Just may
be some accumulation happening up to this crucial $7+ area.....

agree.

Chinese culture tends encourage people to be humble and not to market
yourself.  The CEO is from a generation of Chinese who grow up during
political to turmoil and are not well educated unfortunately.
Hopefully, in the next decade, US educated Chinese can take over and
communicate more effectively.

Having said that, I did some search on this company and found it to be
solid and have lots of potential as it expands to more cities. Public
transportation remains to be crucial part of Chinese life and will
grow tremendously along with Chinese urbanization.  This company has
dominant access to those subway and bus riders with substantial
purchasing power.

Anyway, a good buy, I think.

I never saw this kind of business when I study in USA.  I think it is
good buy,  because our gov control culture. The media industry is not
free, so VISN have chance.

Subject: Re: Vision China Media Inc. News
this stock is coming up to an important technical area a little above
$7.00 per share... vol has been growing and the stock closed at his
high for the day on the last trade - a good sign... the problem is
that for the last couple of quarters its sales have leveled out and i
think there have been issues with their subway contracts... So i read
into this that this is the reason why the CFO was replaced... I must
say that the previous CFO (a lady - i forgot her name) i listened to
on the conference call in 2008 -- she really was very good (in my
opinion). not like some of the chinese conference calls that i have
heard which were not very forth coming --- and clearly the management
was looking at the clock and hoping for the last question so they
could say good bye to all and be done with the questions from the
shareholders (who are the owners !)... but maybe there is a sense that
this new guy Scott Chen will right the ship... and that is the reason
why the stock is beginning to show some life... Any comments???

From my perspective, i do not think this is a good stock to invest,
becuase when you come to china, you can see lots of outdoor
advertisement in the streets, subways,  buses,  which are produced by
various outdoor media companies,  so the price of  advertisement
become more and more lower  due to fierce competition. And i also
think VISN did not take the chance of merging some rivals in the
financial crisis,  some of which have imposed great threat to VISN,
such towona. What is more, as a chinese, i find people in china do not
pay much attention to this kind of advertisement in daily life,
