Subject: 11 reasons NOT to buy this stock.

1.) This stock is covered by Mr. Fong  art ML who is a less than trust
worthy and very misleading in his analysis and will take advantage of
average investors given the chance.

2.) Americans  for the most part don't trust Chinese companies,
period. No matter how good there fundamentals are.. Chinese stocks a
fine for short term trades but horrible investments for the most part
long term.

3.) Management is trying to bolster stock price by sending out mass
emails about economic data regarding there economy.

4.) Chinese economy is slowing, as result regulators are trying to
boost lending to mitigate such a slow down in China.

5.) Chinese government could slap a " windfall tax" on any company or
any sector/ industry  making excess profits and potentially driving
inflation higher in there region.

6.) Investors have lost confidence in this company as result of the
Mr. Fong actions prior to last earnings. No trust = no volume, notice
how the volume has dropped of the map since Mr. Fong latest stunt.

7.) Management  will not comment on Mr. Fong actions or give any kind
of explanation about his report, leading me to believe they are hiding
information from shareholders as well.

8.)  Mr. Fong is not an honest analyst and will rip off shareholders
given the chance. He has already demonstrated this through his
impeccable timing in which he issues his reports.

9.)  This stock appears to be broken based on where it is trading. Mr.
Fong said fair value was 7.00 a share and now its trading in the
5's...

10.)  Once regulators get involved the stock price should further
erode in price naturally.

11.)  Even though this company said they where not effected by the
earthquakes, Mr. Fong had other plans to capitalize off a tragic
event, making him probably the biggest scum bag analysts ever.

The purpose and intent of this post is to make investors aware of of
the risks of investing in this company and to portray the facts of
what has transpired.

What is the reason for the big jump today?  Is it short squeeze?  I do
not see any news about XIN

Thanks

If you want to make money, you take the chance.
Meanwhile, Uncle Sam also have tons of scanddles regarding the stocks.
And most of the Chinese companies public listed in WS are back up by
investment banks from States.

I got that email too, which is uncommon.

This company does have lots of projects in second-tie cities in China,
what do the regulator for?

chenjian,

Lets see the Chinese use led paint in the toys the export.. They use
contaminates in the pet foods.. They knock off high fashion designers
merchandise , along with other manufactures such as nike, callaway,
oakely. Managements that work for companies like FMCN, STV  have a bad
reputation. They also steal trade secrets from high tech companies, no
secret at all.

Taking a chance on a stock is one thing, trading on valuation is
another..This company has great numbers but has yet to translate into
stock price.

I got an email while back ago from investor relations stating they
would not comment on Mr. Fong report days prior to reporting very
robust numbers?  So phishy its smells.. Where you a share holder prior
to last earnings.. 10 calls should have easily gone in the money.. The
stock was trading just over 9 dollars drops to 7 dollars after the
report then goes right back up to to high 9's..

I believe todays rally was a result of my post. Go look at the
volume , tells the story quite well.

It one thing to short but to give false pre- tenses through his
reports not to smart these days..

Savy shareholders can see right through his B>S..

To the Chinese credit there culture is certainly fascinating and the
people seem to be very hard workers and they cook great food!

Tony,

Thanks for your reply. Regarding the lead toys, contaminated pet foods
are all imported by States merchandises. For one lead toy, the factory
in China only made $1, and the States business man made $10, whom
should blame for??? As far as I know, all the factory manufacture
according the specification of the order(which means it is States
companies provide the standard.)

Regarding stock trading ( I do not believe in Investment, all stock
investment is speculation, check the great stocks in Dow Jones index,
back to 100 years ago, only GE survive) In my mind, business is
business; there is no trading on valuation. I would like to use the
profit for charity instead thinking about the " VALUATION" during
trading. My point is as far as a company meet the regulations
requirement, it is a good company. When a company is public-listed, it
means the watch-dog need to make sure the companies do the right
thing. Think about BSC, leverage about 40X, got over 10 billions bonus
to take the chance, whose fault?

Regarding made fake fashion designers, again it is partially come from
the companies themselves. NIKE open plants in China, but to make sure
they get the best deal, they picked up three companies to make the
same model, let them fight each other.(Bloody!!!) Back to my previous
point again, the factory is under pressure of survive. Whenever they
have a chance, they just make the exact same products just without the
license of the original intellectual patent owner. That is the reason
why two of my friends bought same model of LV, everything are exactly
the same, including the serious number. And they brought the fake one
to LV branch office in China, they tole her it is genuine!!! Something
is wrong for the big names company as well. ( APPL did much better
from this aspect, it made the richest Taiwaness manufacture IPod,
IPhone ... he is even richer than Steve Jobs)

Most of the Chinese companies as followers in the business arena,
sometimes they have no choice to do something bad. But I am very sure
the situation will be changes. Lenovo, Huawei is good examples.

Great country, great people, and sucks government. The people there
deserve better life! And good food for sure.

A little bit off topic, I got the email from the IR as well, it is
bizarre, I agree. Esp the tone of the email. Let's wait and see.

Happy Trading!

Ok so what your saying is that all those fake watches sold on canal
street in NYC are actually real! Don't think so... There knock offs
and are stealing intellectual property from vendors.  Your right
companies to provide the standards in which the goods are supposed to
be manufactured but those standards are not met because this is there
way of reducing input costs. Lead paint is a big problem.. As far as
the financial's go BSC , capitalism is a system built on failure and
success that's what's so great. You make a bad business decision I can
capitalize off it. The right thing to do is to let them fail... I did
not support the measures taken by the fed's plain and simple. It a
shame and its socialist. Socialism has no place in America.

Truth is America is where all the greatest minds come to get educated
and it always will be that way. I mean the Chinese could not even
successfully breed panda bears until they turned to the San Diego zoo
for help and then what do you know , we helped them better understand
how to do this successfully. There Gymnasts that competed last night
are not even off age requirement , the IOC says you have to be 16.
These kids are much younger than that. It occurred to me watching the
games that China is going to have serious environmental problems with
the size of there population. I mean the air quality is so bad there.
What they don't understand is future generations will develop serious
health problems because of there environmental standards.

Who are we to pass judgments on them? Yes, the fake shoes and watches
on Canal Street might con you out of a few bucks, but there are people
here that sell toxic loans and mortgages that would con others out of
their life savings.
They have their FMCN and STV; we have our Enron, WorldCom and Bear
sterns.
Pollution? I think we should just continue to drive around in our SUVs
and shut the hell up; we have done our fair share of polluting the war
for the last century and we still a president here who still thinks
global warming is nothing but a faerie tale.

Stocks with good fundamentals always come back, XIN is not much of a
gamble at this price.

No, Just a China bull who is seeing a very nice profit in XIN today.
Jim Rogers is big on China, and Warren Buffet is again looking for
investment opportunities there, does that make them communist rebels?

You know,  sometimes it is a good idea to get your news from sources
other than CNN and CNBC,  if you have the time to travel around and
see the world, may be one day you get to see things in a different
light.
It is election year, so it is not surprising that you see all those
China bashing floating around these days, you see that every 4 years,
it is going to quiet down as soon as the election is over. Corporate
America has been making a killing from selling cheap junks from China
to us for over 30 years, what makes you think they are going to stop
right now? China is not going away, people over there are finally
starting to have some money in their pockets, with a market that huge,
do you think our big guys here are going to let the Japanese and
Europeans have all the fun over there?

China these days is no more of socialist country than the US, at least
their tax payers are not picking up the tab for bailing out bad
mortgages like we do,  their competition is more cut throat, that is
why you see them trying to cut corners anyway they could, but if you
can spot their winners and invest in them, you will end up making a
lot of money.

Tony,

In the market, there is only good trader or bad trader; leave the
politics at your dine-table; there is no communism or capitalism in
the market!

Without the cheap Chinese stuff, you will find your pocket shallower;
Walmart is under the inflation pressure right now... ...

Happy Trading!

Walmart under inflation pressure you have to be kidding.... They have
been benefiting from inflation..  These guys new inflation was coming
along time ago chenjian... That is why the are the most dominant
retailer in the world.. Walmart's management is so keen on adjusting
prices its not an issue , infact when people want to cut back on
spending they go to Walmart and shop to save money.. So far you are
clueless friend..

Why do you think health care will never become a  fully  sponsored
government  program in the United States?   Would love to hear what
you grasshoppers have to say?  Please chime in... Since energy and
healthcare are the focal points of this election, lets engage in a
healthy debate and since politics play a huge role in the stock market
chenjian.

Obama's energy policy will drive oil higher , do you know why? He
obviously does not, but I do...

I don't like to follow the herd when it comes to investing, if that
makes me a rebel, so be it.  For companies with good fundamentals, the
best time to load their stocks is when no one wants them. All the
China bashing that is going on is nothing new, we have seen it over
and over again, if that helps bring down the Chinese shares, it will
not be bad idea to use it to your advantage.  A good company is a good
company,  doesn't matter whether it is Chinese or American, use your
head to invest, not your heart.

When it comes to Obama or Mcain, I am still undecided at this point,
Nader is the smartest one among them, but you are just wasting your
vote if you vote for him.

The reasons why healthcare in the United States cannot be a
legitimately  fully sponsored program by the government??? is because
if you look at the two biggest health problems that face America both
can be prevented.. Heart disease and lung cancer. Unfortunately as
well a vast part of our population is over weight. Demographics can
measure this more accurately. So the fact that we have so much free
agency compared to other countries allows people to do funny things
like become over weight among others. So health care should be broken
down as follows.. If you have chronic illness, severe disability or of
certain age ( 60) or do not have guardian parents, you qualify for a
government sponsored program similar to say a PPO or HMO.  But if your
part of the general population and are working you get benefits
through your  employer or some kind of CO-OP group benefits program.
So healthcare will continue to be a problem but not as big of a
problem if the government jumps in and takes control.. Look at the
post office it's broke and looses money every year, plus they can only
adjust there costs a couple times a year to off set inflation costs.
Where as Fed Ex and UPS can still profit no matter what which way
there input costs are most dismal. They only program that is totally
screwed is workers compensation.

Obama has a commercial out that says a he is gonna put a " windfall"
tax on oil companies and give the proceeds a whopping 1000.00 to each
family. Oh boy! what a difference that is going to make> especially
since those oil companies will turn around and raise there prices if
they get taxed more. Then we will pay more at the pump.. Nuts.. John
Mcaine just needs to stay to own game and adopt an energy policy that
is more geared alternative. He is the guy that is more qualified to
end the war. The question is how quickly can he end it with out
causing further instability in the region....

Btw,  China is doing a fantastic job with hosting the Olympics the
bird's nest and water cube is really cool , the fire works ceremony
was absolutely insane!

If you are the same guy from the STV forum, do you remember what mgen
said about using swing trades to accumulate shares, these Chinese
speculation stocks are high risk, it is very important to learn their
trading patterns before you touch them, take profit when you see it
and if you think the company has potentials, leave some of your profit
in the stock as "free shares", that way you got to  invest in these
high risk stocks without taking on too much risk, when you have picked
up enough shares, then it would be a good idea to move onto another
trade. All the Chinese solar companies are heating up again, that is
what gets my attention these days.

my own game and it paid off.. Im one of the few shareholders that beat
there company every quarter, up until the last quarter.  Mike has no
idea how many people got burned by listening to his posts. Then he
realized STV was going down even further, then he snuck away ...
Management at STV is the real problem .. They have not a clue. I have
been wrong occasionally but I have him cornered on STV.. I predicted
back when they ipo-ed that this company would get hammered because of
what was in store for the market.  Mgen is a strange person....

I see, I didn't know that. I usually goes onto the STV forum only
around earning time. I didn't know there is such a story behind that
guy.  I didn't follow him on his trades but I did notice that he had a
few good posts. I was reading that forum early this month and I was
wondering what happened to him.

STV as a stock is actually pretty predictable, it usually runs up
before earnings and crashes back down right after,  I made a few bucks
trading it and accumulated a few hundred "free" shares in the process.
I guess this is the only way to invest in these Chinese companies, you
invest with other people's money.

Wandersingsou,

Mgen was telling people to roll long in this stock STV , along with
stocks like XIN, ETFC , NTGR, GU   which btw NTGR  missed earnings
last quarter. Problem with " rolling long"  is that with small caps in
a declining bear market investors will get smothered because  it takes
a lot cash to have on hand to average down and at some point people
become fully invested, then become stuck in there positions which is
why a lot of investors are trapped in that stock .  I actually had a
good relationship with him for at least 9 months or so then he just
disappeared, that is why I guess I feel despised by him. I believe he
cut his losses and moved on to better opportunities and did not have
balls to tell people this. This was after he told every one on that
forum he would be there until that cash cow comes home. You can't
believe how many people lost money over there listening to him about
rolling long in STV. I would say 100% people who listened to him about
cost averaging, which is a great strategy but only with mid and large
caps in my opinion. with small caps like XIN you got to be more
aggressive in profit taking, then when the stocks drops 30% you start
averaging down.  My portfolio has been very healthy these last months
despite the market in declining market mode. Playing momentum trades
and playing ER reports.  Which is how I can pull 82% in  8 months off
a company like BIDZ... Here is a stock I forgot to mention in my other
posts IDXX, this stock has been great to me.. The management is the
real deal.. Rolling long in this stock makes sense.... But not with
STV, XIN , NTGR. most people  are not disciplined enough to do this
they get to trigger happy and become fully invested as result. TITN
going into next er or at the numbers will trade between way up from
current levels . This company has great management as well and
business is strong.

I pretty sure he lost more money in STV than Jim Cramer has to other
investors in  any other stocks. He was such an advocate for so long
and then vanished. He is a bit of a coward in my book.

Here is my post from another board, take notes
wanderingsou...@gmail.com

Bond market's have been falling this last couple of days, 10 year ,
30 year etc. So if interest rates stay the same, stocks will decline
across the board because the credit spreads are widening, less
yield... You see companies that go bankrupt there bonds fall before
there stock prices, then the stock price proceed this. In the case of
the broad market 10,000 dow in the next 6-8 months not out of the
question. Puts on the S&P is a safe play. Just sell near in the money
putts. More pain for financial' s is on the way. However SEC is
coming
out with new short selling rules so the market might just rally for a
couple of weeks do to the safe guard. I would not discount another
rate cute depending on what bonds do in the next few weeks..
Remember
the fed can't fight inflation and housing at the same time. They just
need to stick with fixing the housing crisis  for the 12 months...

Tony:

I never average down, I don't believe in rewarding a mistake. I
usually cut my lost at 8% and won't touch the same stock again until
the trend changes.

I agree with you, this market is going to get a lot more ugly before
things will get better, I am just trading with a small amount of my
money these days.

I am here because I heard rumors about the Chinese government planning
to pump money into the ailing real estate market and major Chinese
blue chip companies after the Olympics, but I have already taken some
profit and moved onto the solar stocks. Another Chinese real state
company that I have my eye on is EJ, I am going to see where it stop
first before getting into it.
