I've followed this stock for a long time. It generally looks the
worst right before it doubles. I don't think we're there quite yet though. On Oct 7, 7:50 am, yonil <silvatar_fl...@yahoo.com> wrote:

Before it doubles? Yeah right! I bought quite a few shares and later
found out that GU has shut down a few of its production plants. So not to be sarcastic, but I was wondering if it was merely wishful thinking or if you had something in the way of good news about GU that the media certainly hasn't let out yet? I truly hope it is good new. I just don't see it doubling like you seem to suggest. ~ T-bone. On Oct 7, 5:27 am, mmccord <mmcc...@gmail.com> wrote:

Maybe you should have researched a little better before spending your
money. If you followed my posts on this board, you would know that I have been berated here for being very critical of GU. I have followed it since the IPO, and found that when this stock looks

Thanks mmcc~ I will try and file that in my memory bank. It looks
like I might have got in on a slight upward trend. I will have to hang on and hope that it hits the "down and out" status so that it can go up. When was its IPO? Do you think there is a realistic future for the product that GU sells? ~T-bone. On Oct 8, 6:07 am, mmccord <mmcc...@gmail.com> wrote:

IPO was in Dec 2007. I think GU has a good future, but it is
definitely a speculative play. There is not much support above 1.30 anymore. If there is not good news by the conference call next month, this could get ugly. Investors are very tired of the lack of communication from GU leadership. They have a good balance sheet, but with two plants idled, I can't imagine they are making a profit. So who cares how much cash they have on hand, it just delays the inevitable unless an agreement is reached with the local govt. I view this a lot like a small pharmaceutical company with ongoing

this is nothing like a small pharma company with ongoing drug trials.
this is the largest producer of biodiesel in china. they were profitable every quarter of their existence until oil crashed for a few quarters. the plant shutdowns are related to a consumption tax that will inevitably not apply to them. if oil prices stay down (which they won't), they can switch over to manufacturing chemicals. they have no debt and 1.40 per share in cash. are the factories capable of producing 500,000 tons of biodiesel annually really worthless? a quick look at other chinese biodiesel stocks suggests that this is not the case. look at the cash they produced in the past few years, and for all the problems they are facing now they are still cash flow positive. at 10 bucks, this is a speculative play. at less than 2 bucks, this is a pretty safe bet, imo On Oct 13, 7:32 pm, mmccord <mmcc...@gmail.com> wrote:

so why is everyone avoiding this stock like the plague no matter how
much the markets are rallying? It boggles the mind at this point On Oct 14, 5:24 pm, Will <willthro...@gmail.com> wrote:

Its kind of difficult to give much of an opinion when there is
virtually no news lately - good or bad............ plus you said your source is not reliable. Nuff said for now. On Oct 15, 5:51 am, JASSONisALWAYSRIGHT <jasson...@hotmail.com> wrote:

all right, i have few shares of this stock, and looks like we can
expect nice payoff next week, everything is pointing that way..... 2.5..here it comes..i m not so sure about doubling like someone mentioned above, at least not into the next week....if oil starts to go up even higher, it already has.....doubling would be more realistic....but for now..i say hold on to your shares and wait about a week... hold these shares for more than a week! think about the potential...
look how much cash they produce when oil goes up, and you know they plan on paying dividends in the future... On Oct 15, 6:23 pm, HERE4BEER <rubin1...@yahoo.com> wrote:

I'm liking it better in the 1.50 range.
If it dropped below 1.50 I'd be a strong buy. It's always darkest before the dawn.
