sure it will. It went up only for a month, other time it was down. I
don't understand why people look into solar sector at all, especially
to SOL, when there are so many more good buys right now at lower
prices and better short term gains. Well, in 4 -5 years may be you'd
gain something, but not much earlier

What? SOL has the fastest growth rate in the solar industry and demand
for solar remains strong (check out WFR's recent earnings report). At
the current rate of growth and with no increase in price, the PE in 4
to 5 years would be under 1 - ridiculous! This stock will have to
increase in value fairly soon and should have a good run up before
earnings. If it does not, I will hold after earnings. Either way, it
is going to increase soon unless oil goes back to $30 per barrel and
we all know that will not happen.

well, definitely not 4 -5 month from now. Ok, 4- 5 may be
exaggerating, but 1,5 - 2 years definitely. We have to take into
account that the Solar market is pretty new and nor matured yet.

That's right, holding  up to 2 years would definitely pay off big
time. but holding it for 4 -5 months - not very convinced. I bought it
2 month ago and am like -25 % now. I expect it would take at least 2 -
3 month just to break even..

Once FSLR's earning will be released all solars will go up. FSLR's
earning date is 30th of July..All short will be covered before 30th of
July.. Few days are left to play short with solar..

Where do you take all those predictions from? Is it based on anything
reasonable? So far we can see just downhill.

Past events don't necessarily predict the future...if that was the
case then once a trend started it would supposedly never stop :)

Have you seen FSLR is up $ 4.72 today though market is totally
battered. This gain because of FSLR's earning is on 30th of July. No
one is daring to short FSLR now. FSLR is big player in solar industry
so with it's earning al solar will go up. Wait and watch next week
solar's run..
