My assumption was that the recent steady swings were incremental buy
backs. Perhaps today they simply bought back a "bit" more? I'm no
expert, just taking an amateur-ish guess.

I've looked around and not found anything on their website or any of
the typical places (Nasdaq, bloomberg etc.). The buyback they talked
about in Oct was for 10% of shares outstanding, can't imagine they'd
do it all in one day...

Pardon me for being so negative but remember that for a stock to
double it's price it has to soar 100%. We are not talking only double
the price but 3 folds or up to 6 folds of loses on Sino ($4.5 vs $26).

Thanks for the insight Jason, I knew the Chinese economy and currency
were weakening but never thought about the effects of the ban that was
put in place. If anything, I thought the Olympics would have boosted
the economy and this stock. Is that ban there to stay?

The reason for the falling knife is because China has been dead for
the past couple months. Due to the ban that was put in place to
control smog prior to and during the Olympics, they have all but
stopped importing and using coal, steel, oil, and copper the way they
were previously. This kills Sino's business.

Well, we all were on the same boat at the time. My plan was to buy and
sell this $hit quickly to take advantage of the volatility and somehow
I lost the mentality along the way and kept it for long. The thing
that I didn't see was that "Hey, this thing dropped from $27 to $17 so
why would it not drop even further more..."

I was one of the suckers who saw the IPO skyrocket and bought without
researching - obviously something was happening and I just had to have
a piece of it. I put in a buy at 21.50 but by the time I got it
entered it had gone past that point. So I bought at 24.70. By the
time it dropped past 21.50 I had twice as many shares on my hands

Holding on at 12.8 and am cringing every time this fu*ker goes down.

I have been watching this company for weeks and while I am not an
expert, I can at least offer my opinion. To me, this stock is a dump
and pump stock for now until their earning date. At this point, their
price is a bargain and I see them heading back to 14 this week. Again,
this just my opinion.

this one actuallys owns 11 dry bulkers and will have 20 soon has a 9

Only 1.6 million shares float, that is small. imagine if some
instutionals decide to add this stock to their porfolio, there no much

You can only speculate with this stock. It is a straight up gamble.
Due to the low volume it can swing either direction in a heartbeat. I
like the fundamentals behind this stock and think all the imports they
will need due to the earthquake (taking out land trasport options)
should give this company plenty of business. The question is how well
