Lee Iacocca stands behind Amerityre's technology. Is this where the
automotive tire industry is going? Going green? Sounds great to me: http://amerityre.com/index.cfm?action=investors.livideo You must Sign in before you can post messages.

One of the problems, other than high fuel costs, this company is
experiencing is manufactoring in China. I honestly believe we should stick to making tires in the USA where there is more regulation and less chance for recall and faulty tires. The problems with Cooper are not exclusive to just them. The sector as a whole is down. You must Sign in before you can post messages.

Amerityre is so far from being a real product it's not even a blip on
the radar. The tires that Amerityre produces will never go any further than bicycle tires, if even that. Lee Iacocca is a paid representative of the company and nothing more. You must Sign in before you can post messages.

The problem with Cooper is, for example, last year. $550 million in
debt with only $119 million in income. That's the problem. If they got rid of their debt or at least used it as leverage, this company would be trading in the neighborhood of $35 - $40 per share. You must Sign in before you can post messages.

Amerityre as of right now is an absolutely absurd proposition. Having
worked in the tire industry for eight years, from service to store level management to corporate purchasing, I know for a fact that it's not coming any time soon. As for cooper, they have so many problems it is nearly impossible to list them all. One of the biggest is their private branding. Cooper makes a good product, but the brand itself has limited exposure to the public. Take Goodyear for example. They used to dive into the private branding just as deep as cooper, however a few years back they stopped. About that time, there was a very significant spike in GY stock because all of a sudden there was a flooding of GY product in the market. Cooper is a good product, but until they learn to market their line rather than letting someone else market a "cooper-made" product for them they will stay down. There are rumors that they may push some of the private branding out, but they day they do away with it entirely is the day that they will push 45-50. You must Sign in before you can post messages.
