Subject: From a cashiers prospective
Ok so it is really silly. everytime we have a huge snow storm people
liek to stock up on goods :). lol, why doesn't target just get more
supplies when they know bad weather is comming well i guess it a good
thing we run out of products.  It was funny i over heard my managgers
list off several products that we ran out of.  Why cannot peopel just
shop regularly independent of the weather.  maybe it is just the edina
target.

ok so one story, this is a while ago,  The weather man said it goiong
to rain tomorrow so we got busy everyone wanted to buy their items
before it rained. well it did not rain. but the weather man said again
it will rain tomorrow. so we were busy again. and this went on for 3
or 4 days. and we were so busy. and it never rained!! lol silly
people!! stocking up for nothing.

and i know this christmass seasson will be terrible!! well for me as a
cashier! it the begnning of oct. and we ar sending cashiers outside to
help bring in carts becasue the cart people cannot bring them in fast
enough. even with their fancy machines.  I remember last year it did
not get busy until after thanks giving. maybe peopel remembered target
ran out of everything last year! so they want to get all their
shoppign done. target could really raise their prices a significant
amount. at least in the edina store and they would still move a
significant amount of product.!! when the economy is good people in
edina spend like crazy!! but i guess i only speaking for one store. i
wonder how the other stores are doing.

ohh and yesterday!! lol sillness. we had even the store managers on
check lanes ringgine out people. lol this upset one customer becasue
they had bought an item with a spider wrap on and the cashiers cannot
take them off and the managers were busy!! lol so he had to wait a
long time to get his item. lol. they really need to let some cashiers
have the keys for the spider wraps!!!

lol this got long!!!

one last thing

Target really needs to pay the cashiers based on speed!! i resent
target for not doing this!!! they pay me by the hour. so who cares if
i walk slowly. who cares if i work slowly!! lol, target would really
be making money if they paid x an hour plus if you do better than the
average dollar amount sales you get a bonus 1 percent or somethign
like that. man io know if i knew i would get paid more if i went
faster i would never go slowly!! lol and the slow cashiers would quit
and there would only be really fast cashiers. now who doesn't like a
fast cashier!!!
but i guess target wants to make the share holder happy. i jsut wish i
would have bought more target!! once i turn 21 if i still working at
target i know i going to dump as much as i can into the 401k. and
maybe buy more shares on the side!!  i dont see this comapny failling.
i still am not happy with the price match but well nothing i can do
about it.

oh and one more complaint. let people shop only line and someone in
the store will get their cart ready. and they just come in and pick up
the cart! that would be nice. i guess it won;t work for cold food. but
well. maybe put a cooler and freezer, next to the pick up spot. i know
the cart guys would like it. the cashiers would like it. and the
customer would like it.  but i guess then they cannot do impulse buys.
so maybe the share holder wont like it. but hey maybe charge a pick up
fee! or a convience fee. that would make the share holder like it!!
i am still really excited about buying target at $30 and now it at
$50.

i wish they would pay a higher dividend. i don't know if they have any
loans out. but they should pay the loans if they do and then pay a
higher dividend. bring the share price down.

cant buy stock in a 401k.  you obviously dont know anything about
target or its financials so i wont even bother with a rebuttal of your
information.
