It amuses me how most posters here have Absolutely No Economic
Knowledge....

What if I told you the US debt IS A GOOD THING?
Or that the weak US dollar... Is presently good for the economy?
Or that High oil... WAS A GOOD THING FOR THE US ECONOMY?

Of course, keep repeating what your Ron Pail Bitch, with his 1776
outdated policies -- you know, the same policies that got us in the
GREAT DEPRESSION -- want you to hear.

Backing up every dollar with gold? Are you stupid??? THERE IS NOT
ENOUGH GOLD ON EARTH TO MAINTAIN A PROPER GROWTH!!!!!

Get your failed ideas from the 18e century back to your high school
economics class and leave the real economics to professional like me.

You're right, there is not enough gold, but there's unlimited amount
of paper to supply (dilute) our growing economy.

Dude, you're to tell me that if you had the power to print money you
wouldn't print a couple of billion for yourself?

Paper money has never worked and will never work.  Humans are greedy
and who ever controls the print press controls the wealth.

I am tranquil because the limited amount of gold, food and silver i
have, the FED cannot print it way. they have to go and work to get it
out of the ground if they want to make my gold or silver worthless.

That is a much more complex subject than it seems. Knowing which
amount of money to print is actually a very complex subject which I
won't discuss here.

No. Take my word for it: money will only bring you trouble. FIND WHAT
YOU LOVE TO DO IN LIFE AND ARRANGE YOUR LIFE SO THAT YOU CAN LIVE OUT
OF IT!

Actually it has worked for the last 1,000 years -- if not more. I
agree that gold is safer though. You know, T-bill and stocks are paper
too (or 0's and 1's in some mysql database!)

Good point.

supply as well (Like pre-1983 )? Why did the Fed stop printing M3

Specialize in macro-economy.  Does University of Phoenix have that
degree?

When you get you Ph.d, then you can pipe up as an expert and even then
as the last emailer said you can still lose your ass in the market.
Once again go look up Black-Scholes.

Careful when you go out on a limb like this,  There be monsters here.

Finally, inevitable,...... you have got to be kidding...unless of
course you are referring to greed and human nature

shamantwoth...  you have done a great job so far to make every angry
about you.

One question for you:  Why do you even come to this DISCUSSION board?
I guess that you are not bored, but you are in the stock business and
looking for some helpful advise here.  Poor thing, I understand how
you would feel after you have probably (or already) lost a lot of your/
your clients' money by your "excellent" economy knowledge.

Here is your opinion again:
http://finance.google.com/group/google.finance.983582/browse_thread/t...

What a great prediction, huh?   "DOW go 8,000 shortly.."    WOW, how
you figure IT out?   It was a quite HARD one.   : )

DOW hitting 8,000 is one of the best thing that could happen to the US
economy ever. LEARN UR FACTS. With a Dow at 8,000 EVERYONE worldwide

Please obtain a Ph.D. from an properly accredited university and have
a thesis published in a recognizable scholarly journal before USING
YOUR CAPS LOCK. Also, with respect to economics, the word professional
implies earning an income for research or consultation.

Furthermore, Atlas Shrugged was boring.

Then it wont take you long to do as I asked, and explain in as much
detail as you can muster, why it's a very complex subject, and what
the best methodologies for approaching a solution are? Since you're a
specialist. You can even do it en Francais.

WOW, what did I miss?? Lehman reports 4 billion loss. Market raises. I
think that means the market has priced most of the expected loses in.
Sans any further surprises. But where is all the capital now???
