C beat expectations. Will they cause another rally? Or, at least blunt
the pain about to come from MER, MSFT, and GOOG?

How can the DOW futures be up (or up from the -100 of earlier this
morning) ?
Only C  (pretrading) is significantly up. All the others I've looked
at are down. So why is the DOW 'up' ????

What a setup. Banks/Brokers setup the Analysts to post low estimates,
leave out MER to leave some transparency, rest all beat the estimates,
before earnings come out all financials rally as if there was no
tomorrow.

I call this big BS.  They are buying each other out to keep up, sooner
or later they will run out of cash, then FED will come out and fart
again,

You are about to get ripped. Get your money out on the small bumb we
might get this morning.  All experts are saying that the worst is yet
to come.

Only Mighty Mouse can save the day.  Oil prices and natural gas prices
are continuing to be low, rather than just a spike down. That has got
to encourage the bulls.

In the long run the probem is still money; money is in oversupply.

Since experts do such a crumby job in the market for themselves they
must be an "expert" for a living. They talk in front of people that
nod at their comments. Those people go and tell others "you have no
idea whats about to go down"...

I don't think we'll see too much bear today. Although, that weekend
martini money has got to come from somewhere.

"Only Mighty Mouse can save the day."

I respectfully disagree

I would hold off on this notion until I saw their bank accounts and
blind trusts.

This happened last earnings season too and look where we are now :)
You have got to be pretty stupid to not see what is going on here.

Anyone remember when Buffet said "Stocks are still not cheap back at
~12k". Not heard a lot from Buffet lately. Watch his words closely
though. He's got all the t-shirts and made all the money

Love the Underdog!

Scrubs did a great barbershop quartet cover of the Underdog theme song
in one of their old episodes; heck, it's probably on youtube too.
Brightened my mood on this ugly day.

Yeah, I loved it too... 55% profit in calls over night. I seriously
doubt that C will be able to hold this price for long though.

On another note, any idea why tech sector is trading so much lower
than SP500 and DJI ?

TECH are down due to the earnings of GOOG and other Companies.
