Subject: Conservatives on NY-23: We didn't lose
Conservative grass-roots activists asserted Wednesday that third-party
candidate Doug Hoffman’s loss in a New York special election was no
setback but, rather, signaled a victory for the burgeoning political
movement.

“I think time was the biggest factor, and if [Hoffman had] had a bit
more time, he would have won,” said Everett Wilkinson, a South Florida-
based tea party organizer who was watching the contest closely. “I
wouldn’t consider it a loss. I think we were successful.”

Janet Spencer, a South Carolina-based tea party activist who in
September chartered two buses to take 75 of her neighbors to the
nation’s capital for the Taxpayer March on Washington, went one step
further, declaring the outcome a win.

-------------------

Humorous post that got censored by a Google conservative employee

Obviously, conservatives lost, as did Palin, tea baggers and the
Republican party.

It's zero out of three for the conservative party.  If you're
referring to right of center and excluding the house seat won in
California, which I don't know why you would, then I guess you'd be
right.

Hmmm....there's WonderDunce staring at the Alaskan pipeline watching
the majority of that Oil being shipped off to Japan at RECORD profits
while in the lower 40 we pay more and more for imported Oil. We need
to do MORE drilling in the USA so says fat cat Oil execs and Senators.
Why?? Does Japan need more Oil that the Alaskan pipeline can supply
them??

Great job Sarah!

That's right, you guys won. Congrats. The fact that people voted not
only for the republican candidate for govenor in Virginia but then
went on to vote the straight line repiblican party ticket for Lt.
Govenor and Attorney General doesn't mean a thing. And even though
Obama, ACORN and SEIU invested a lot of political capital in the NJ, a
solidly blue state,  race and ended up getting pounded doesn't mean
anything either. Yep, you guys beat a complete unknown in NY who has
never run for an elected office in his life. Good job. Only problem is
the NY congressional seat was a special election and the seat will
come up for vote again in 2010, but don't worry about that. You guys
keep it up, you're doing a great job of whistling past the
graveyard.

Yes -- Entering the 3-way race with only a month to go and no backing,
then taking 44% of the split vote to lose by only 4% is a tragedy.
We should never, ever fool ourselves into thinking that the guy never
had a chance.  Hmmmmm!

No, they didn't lose, they just didn't win.  What's the difference?
They drummed out the moderate republican who might have had a chance
against the democrat in favor of the conservative republican and
lost.  Apparently they still haven't learned their lesson.

The lesson is --  Don't nominate false Republicans. This lady was
more liberal than the Democrat.  The only problem the Republicans have
is that they have soured their base by allowing way too much Liberal/
Socialist programming go unchecked.  Lesson learned - Off to the
races.  You can have all the liberal voters you want or think you can
get.  The rest want nothing to do with Obama/Pelosi Social
engineering. The base they had is coming out of their fog......
