Half of you don't have a clue how to differentiate up from down.

Credit crisis, bail outs, etc. To help you guys catch up there are

No American has the right to be "provided" healthcare. You do seem to
grasp the concept of increasing the availability of lower-cost, higher-
quality care through reduced tax burden and federal government

My insurance pays for my eye exam with an ophthalmologist and my
glasses, and my exam is very thorough. Dilation, refraction, internal
pressure, the whole nine yards. It usually takes about a week or so

After Obamacare they generally won't be available. Nancy Pelosi will
continue to get this care but each unit will look and feel like an old

There you go, 100% agreement. Term limits either bumps them up the
ladder, or back to the masses.

And I'd slam the swinging door shut between government and private
corporations. Primo jobs are often a bigger bribe than cash.

My business license clerk was diagnosed with breast cancer last year
around Thanksgiving and had a double mastectomy and reconstructive
surgery. I never did hear what the total bill came to, but I do know
if they didn't have insurance they would have had to file bankruptcy.

I'm still with you. How about we up the ante though:
- Only personal contributions. no 501s, corporations, or unions.
- Term limits. Represent and git. We don't need Pelosi clingons.

I'd subtract publicly financed campaigns. I wouldn't mind the
occasional co-opt of the public airwaves for fair debates though.

That is a damn fine idea, sweat. You probably won't go this far with
me, but I think election campaigning should be limited to six months,
all contributions severely limited in size, and campaigns publicy
financed. Oh, oh, you probably bailed on the government involvement,
there, but I would take any reform.
