In recent weeks, exacerbated by the dissolution of Cisco
Systems’ [NASDAQ: CSCO] Flip division, a chorus of commentators has
begun to wonder about the leadership of Chief Executive Officer John
Chambers. (We note that Chiefist began questioning Chambers’
leadership last December.) Based on this recent attention, we did a
more detailed analysis of Chambers, using our Business Value
Enhancement MetricTM (BVEM), comparing him to his S&P 500 IT Hardware
industry peers. The results below show his deteriorating performance
over time............
